(Twisted) spectral triples and physics

We shall give an overview of the applications of spectral triples to high energy physics, in particular the Standard Model of fundamental interactions. Time permitting, we will present some recent developments on the use of twisted spectral triples to deal with the question of Lorentzian signature.
