I will talk about the use of knot theory in enzymatic processes based on the paper "Untangling DNA" by De Witt Sumners.
How can we distinguish different types of topoisomerases using different invariants?
How can we analyze site specific recombination using knot theory?
These are the main questions I will focus on in my talk.
