Understanding a phenomena is trying to identify what is important and what is not, in a given perspective, then making links between them. No need to wait for a master degree, with partial differential equations and the like to model things around us. Actually, talking, that is, replacing references to actual objects and actions by mere sounds, abstractly structured and combined, forms the basis of modelling. In this talk, we will present different projects that aims at taking seriously education and learning in modelling, from an early age to engineers and teachers' training.
