Universal properties of rooted trees and rooted forests

I will present the results obtained by Lucas Delage (Potsdam). As already shown in a previous presentation, rooted trees have a universal property as pre-Lie algebras, while rooted forests have another universal property as decorated algebras. After a recall of these structures, we will see how the second universal property implies the first.
