We will start with the case of operators with analytic coefficients and show that the Hadamard series in some point converges in some open neighborhood of that point. In that neighborhood the symmetry is rather easy to see and global symmetry holds directly. The claim then follows by uniformly approximating general smooth coefficients by analytic ones.
