Given a Riemannian manifold with boundary, we will establish a new estimate for the first eigenvalue of the Laplacian with Robin boundary conditions. These estimates are expressed in terms of the zeros of the Bessel functions. and the mean curvature of the boundary. This is a joint work with Fida El Chami and Nicolas Ginoux.
