Abstract: In this talk we study the spectral map of the Hamiltonians associated to quasi Sturmian dynamical systems. We describe a non-Euclidean metric on the parameter space which makes the spectral map Lipschitz continuous. Furthermore, we construct sequences for which these estimates can not be improved and show in this way optimality of more general continuity results.
