In this talk, I will present a slightly generalized version of the Atiyah-Patodi-Singer Index Theorem for Differential Operators with normal adapted boundary operators. This will lead to a version of the APS-Theorem, which can be formulated for all Differential operators. We then continue to discuss a strategy to find a local index density for the Rarita-Schwinger Operator, based on the proofs of Gilkey and Atiyah, Bott, Patodi for the local index theorem.
