Dirac eigenvalues, hyperspherical radius and applications

We present a correspondence, established in papers by R. Rüdiger and J. Audretsch, between quantum mechanical equations of motion and classical equations of spinning massive particles in a gravitational field: Based on a geometric optics approach, a method of solving the Dirac equation in an arbitrary spacetime is described. Using a Gordon decomposition of an approximation of the Dirac four-current, the linearised Mathisson-Papapetrou-Dixon equations are then recovered.
