Research topics

My research interests lie in

  • Renormalisation
  • Pseudo-differential operator theory
  • Index theory
  • Infinite dimensional geometry
where beyond the usual tools implemented in those areas, I make use of analytic (meromorphic functions in several variables) tools, coalgebric (coproducts, Hopf algebras) tools, see my lecture notes

Research Network

  • (2010 - 2023) In 2010, I initated (and ran for one year before I moved to Potsdam), a CNRS network (GDR) on Renormalisation.
Its official title was "Renormalisation: aspects algébraiques, analytiques et géométriques"
  • (2020-2022) I was PI and coinitiator with Georges Habib (Université Libanaise, Beirut) of the international network "Linkage Programme" between the Universities of Potsdam and the Université Libanaise sponsored by the Alexander von Humboldt foundation
  • (since 2016) Together with the photographer Noel Matoff, I was cocurator of the touring exhibition "Women of mathematics throughout Europe. A gallery of portraits" https://womeninmath.net
  • (since 2016) Project in collaboration with Dr. Elke Rosenberger (Potsdam) involving
"Witnesses of the Fall of the wall"
  • which consists of interviews (in German with English subtitles) with witnesses of the "Reunification process" who work or used to work at universities in Eastern Germany.
  • (2021) Film: I was the initiator and actively engaged in a film project
Words of Women in Mathematics in the time of Corona"
The pandemic hit working women around the world particularly hard. This film collects testimonies of female mathematicians around the world.
